Language Proficiency
For international applicants whose first language is not English, proof of English language proficiency is required. Acceptable tests include the TOEFL (minimum score of 80), IELTS (minimum score of 6.5), Duolingo (minimum score of 100).
Alternatively, applicants can submit an official letter from a previous institution confirming that English was the language of instruction, or they may participate in an interview with officials from Florida Coastal University, Inc. to demonstrate their proficiency in English.

Admissions Officer Follow-Up
An admissions officer will reach out to prospective students who have expressed interest in the MBA program. This follow-up includes answering questions, providing guidance on the application process, and assisting with any preliminary requirements.
Candidate Submits Application for Admission
Applicants must submit the following materials:
A completed and signed Florida Coastal University, Inc Application for Enrollment.
Copies of high school and all college/university academic transcripts. For degrees earned outside the United States, an evaluation and verification of academic transcripts are required through an approved credential evaluation service.
Proof of English language proficiency, demonstrated through one of the following:
TOEFL (minimum score of 80 IBT)
IELTS (minimum score of 6.5)
Duolingo (minimum score of 100)
Alternatively, an official letter from the school/university certifying that English was the language of study, or an interview with a university official can confirm proficiency.
Eligibility Review
The admissions committee reviews the submitted application and supporting materials to ensure that the candidate meets the eligibility criteria. This review includes verifying academic qualifications, standardized test scores, professional experience, and language proficiency.
Approval/Denial of Admissions by Academics
Based on the eligibility review, the academic team makes a decision to approve or deny the application. This decision is based on a holistic assessment of the applicant’s academic record, professional experience, and potential for success in the MBA program.
Notification of Admission Decision
Applicants are notified of the admission decision via email. Those who are accepted into the program will receive an official acceptance letter and instructions on the next steps.
Signing Enrollment Agreement
Admitted students must sign an enrollment agreement to confirm their place in the MBA program. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of enrollment, including tuition fees, program requirements, and other important information.

Application Process
Steps of the Admissions & Enrollment Process:
Initial Inquiry
Prospective students contact the Director of Student Admissions for an initial interview (via phone, in-person, or video) to discuss their interest in the program and assess their initial eligibility.
Application Submission
Candidates must submit a completed application for enrollment, academic transcripts, proof of English language proficiency, personal statement or essay, and any optional letters of recommendation.
Proof of English language proficiency
Proof of English language proficiency, demonstrated through one of the following:
TOEFL (minimum score of 80 IBT)
IELTS (minimum score of 6.5)
Duolingo (minimum score of 100)
As an alternative, applicants can provide an official letter from their school or university certifying that English was the language of instruction, or they can demonstrate proficiency through an interview with a university official.
Eligibility Review
The Director of Student Admissions reviews all submitted application materials to determine eligibility. Ineligible candidates will be notified in writing of their denial.
Admission Decision
The Chief Academic Officer/Academic Dean conducts a final review of the application and has the authority to grant or deny admission.
Notification of Admission Decision
Candidates are informed of their admission status. Accepted candidates will receive an Enrollment Agreement and any additional necessary documents.
Enrollment Agreement
To finalize admission, candidates must submit a signed Enrollment Agreement to Florida Coastal University, Inc.
Appeal Process
Candidates who are denied admission can appeal the decision in writing within 30 calendar days from the initial denial. The Chief Executive Officer will review the appeal and issue a final decision.
Continuous Admissions & Enrollment Policy
The program accepts applications and enrolls students throughout the year. Once accepted, students can begin their studies at the start of any new semester.
Additional Notes:
- Candidates denied admission due to not meeting minimum eligibility requirements are encouraged to reapply once they meet the criteria.
- All application materials should be submitted via email or courier as directed in the application instructions.

Candidate Submits Application for Admission
Online Application Submission: The applicant completes and submits the official application form through the university’s online portal. This form includes personal information, academic history, professional experience, and any other required details.
Proof of English language proficiency, demonstrated through one of the following:

Or another recognized English proficiency test.
Alternatively, an official letter from the school/university certifying that English was the language of instruction, or an interview with a university official to confirm proficiency.
Supporting Documents: Along with the application, candidates must submit all required supporting documents, including transcripts, letters of recommendation, a personal statement, proof of English language proficiency (if applicable), and optional GRE scores.
Application Fee: Payment of the non-refundable application fee is required to process the application. The fee can be paid online at the time of submission.
Eligibility Review

The academic committee considers the candidate’s overall qualifications, alignment with program goals, and potential contribution to the university’s academic community.
Decision Making: The committee may approve the application, deny admission, or place the candidate on a waitlist. Denial of admission may occur if the candidate does not meet the program’s academic standards or if there are concerns about their readiness for graduate-level work.
Notification of Admission Decision
Official Notification: The candidate will be notified of the admission decision via email. If accepted, the candidate will receive an official offer of admission, including details on how to proceed with enrollment. If the application is denied, the candidate will receive a notification explaining the decision.
Waitlist Communication: Candidates placed on a waitlist will be informed of their status and the potential timeline for a final decision. The admissions office will provide guidance on any next steps the candidate may take while awaiting further communication.
Signing Enrollment Agreement
Acceptance of Offer: Upon receiving an offer of admission, the candidate must formally accept the offer by signing the Enrollment Agreement. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions of enrollment, including tuition, fees, and academic expectations.
Deposit Payment: The candidate is required to submit an enrollment deposit along with the signed agreement. This deposit secures their place in the program and is typically applied toward the first semester’s tuition.
Final Preparations: After the agreement is signed and the deposit is paid, the candidate will receive instructions on course registration, orientation, and other preparations for the start of the program.
