Dr. Alex Parnia
Dr. Alex Parnia
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Alex Parnia has more than 40 years of experience in higher education in the United States. Dr. Parnia has held executive positions in higher education, including Director of satellite campuses, Dean of Business School, Dean of Counseling Psychology, Vice President of Marketing and Enrollment, Executive Vice President, Provost, and President.

Dr. Parnia has been a reviewer with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and has a keen understanding of regulatory accreditation processes in higher education. Dr. Parnia was a tenured faculty member both at Cambridge and Nichols Colleges.

Dr. Parnia served on the Board of Trustees of Presidio University in San Francisco, California and Notre Dame De Namur University in Belmont, California.

David Champlin
Dr. David Champlin
Chief Academic Officer

Dr. David Champlin has been a leader in higher education for over twenty years. During that time, he has served in positions ranging from instructor, program director, general counsel, executive director, campus president and chief administrative officer. He currently serves as the Campus Director and Chief Academic Officer for Florida Coastal University.

Dr. Champlin has served as an evaluator and reviewer for accreditation agencies for many years and has extensive experience in all aspects of institutional and programmatic accreditation. Additionally, he has served on several boards including as President and Chairman of the Future Culinarians of America and as an elected member of the Career Colleges and Schools of Texas, which serves nearly one hundred career colleges and schools in the State of Texas. He has also worked directly with federal and state legislators to advance access to higher education for students. Prior to beginning his journey in higher education, Dr. Champlin practiced law in the areas of environmental and commercial real estate law.

Associate Degree

Laura Allen joins Florida Coastal University with 15 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant to management and C-level executives, plus 3 years as an Accounting Assistant supporting management and Controllers. Academically, she has earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration.

Outside the office, Laura can often be found exploring the great outdoors with her family and dog, making the most of nature and fresh air. She actively participates with her husband at their church and in a variety of community service projects, dedicating time and effort to giving back. Photography and travel are among Laura’s favorite hobbies, allowing her to capture memories, and discover new places. Laura enjoys entertaining family and friends for dinner, gardening, and decorating her home, creating welcoming and beautiful spaces for loved ones.

Dr. Nathan J. Washington

Executive Coach

Dr. Washington is a distinguished retired military officer who dedicated over 20 years to the U.S. Army on active duty. Following his retirement, he transitioned to academia as a professor of Program Management at the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and took on a leadership role as a Senior Manager with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Since 2018, Dr. Washington has been an inspiring Assistant Professor in the online Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) program at Westcoast University.

Passionate about empowering students, Dr. Washington is committed to helping them bridge the gap between their current circumstances and their aspirations. He motivates them to cultivate self-mastery, develop a shared vision, foster collaborative innovation, and achieve remarkable results. By pinpointing areas for personal growth, he guides his clients in setting meaningful goals and objectives while holding them accountable for their success.

Dr. Washington empowers his MBA students through a dynamic coaching methodology that leverages in-depth diagnostic assessments. These assessments reveal a leader’s core values, character, beliefs, emotional makeup, and behavioral tendencies. This holistic approach guarantees that each individual not only recognizes their true potential but also takes decisive steps to transform that potential into reality.

Dr. Brenda Jack

Human Resource Development

Dr. Brenda is a powerhouse of purpose, passion, and perseverance. Beginning as a police sergeant with expertise in criminal justice and business law, her curiosity about the legal system led her to pursue paralegal studies, igniting a more profound passion for law and justice.

Driven by this purpose, Brenda excelled in law school, earning the award for most outstanding student. After being called to the Bar, she was appointed Crown Counsel in the Attorney General’s Office drafting department, bringing precision to the legislative process.

Her thirst for knowledge continued with a master’s degree in Legislative Drafting and a Ph.D. in Leadership with Human Resource Development specialization from Barry University. She also holds a graduate certification in Communication Studies from Walden University.

Today, Dr. Brenda Jack leverages her legal and human resource expertise as a trainer, presenter, and changemaker, empowering others through education and advocacy.

I also earned my Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Argosy University, Tampa, and my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of South Florida, Tampa.

In addition to my academic degrees, I hold several professional certifications, including Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (PMI), Associate Professional in Human Resources (HRCI), a Certificate in Strategic Foresight from the University of Texas College of Engineering, Google AI Essentials, and a Certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace from the University of South Florida.

Dr. Caseylyn M. Allen is a dynamic and accomplished academic professional with a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and over a decade of extensive teaching and leadership experience across accredited institutions. She currently serves as a full-time and adjunct faculty member at multiple universities, delivering undergraduate and graduate courses in business, psychology, and general education through various LMS platforms including Blackboard, Canvas, Brightspace, and others. Dr. Allen is an expert in online pedagogy, course development, academic advising, and faculty mentoring. Her research focuses on emotional intelligence and career success, particularly within the LGBTQ community. She is also actively involved in professional associations such as APA, SIOP, and ABWA, and has received numerous awards recognizing her excellence in teaching and leadership. In addition to academia, she brings industry insights as a behavioral rater and I/O consultant, supporting Fortune 800 companies with recruitment analytics and DEI assessments. Her dedication to student success, academic integrity, and innovative instructional design defines her impactful contribution to higher education.

Jacqueline Corley is not just a writer—she’s a visionary educator, technologist, and spiritual strategist redefining what it means to walk with God in the digital age. With a professional background that bridges advanced technology and deep Biblical insight, Jacqueline empowers believers—especially women and girls—to embrace both faith and innovation as tools for lasting transformation.

She is the founder of Girls Inspiring Generations International (GIG), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping women and girls trade society’s expectations for Biblical truth and boldly pursue God’s purpose for their lives. Through this work, Jacqueline has become a trusted voice in equipping the next generation to lead with conviction, clarity, and confidence.

An Adjunct Professor of Computer Science at Langston University, Jacqueline holds a B.S. in Computer Science with an emphasis in Sports Ministry, an M.S. in Computer Science with a focus on Database Systems, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Computer Science with a concentration in Big Data Analytics. Her expertise makes her uniquely qualified to speak on the intersection of artificial intelligence and spiritual growth.

Her journey into faith-integrated technology began long before AI became a trend. With years of hands-on experience in programming, prayer, and purpose-driven leadership, Jacqueline has developed a clear and compelling voice for how digital tools—when rooted in Biblical values—can deepen our connection with God rather than distract from it.

Jacqueline is the author of How to Use Artificial Intelligence to Enhance Your Time with God. Within this book, she brings together cutting-edge technology and timeless truth to show you how tools like ChatGPT can become practical companions in your quiet time—helping you uncover relevant Scriptures, generate powerful prayers, and receive personalized insights that move you from reflection to action.

When she’s not teaching, writing, or mentoring, you’ll find Jacqueline running, journaling, designing, studying the Bible, or enjoying life with her husband and two children in Miami, Florida.

Dr. Farley is a seasoned computer scientist with over 20 years of experience spanning academia, research, and industry, with a current specialization in Artificial Intelligence—including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Arizona State University, complemented by a postdoctoral fellowship in molecular medicine, giving her a rare interdisciplinary perspective. Her diverse career includes impactful roles in software engineering, cybersecurity, data science, and cloud architecture, as well as leading the development of national-scale big data systems. Currently, she designs and delivers undergraduate and graduate courses in AI and computer science, mentors emerging researchers, and actively explores AI’s potential to drive innovation across domains.

Dr. Ernest Bonat

Dr. Ernest is a highly qualified and seasoned expert in Computer Software Engineering with over 28 years of professional and academic experience. Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, he earned his B.S., M.S. in Electrical Engineering, and Ph.D. in Computer Software Engineering from the prestigious National Technical University of Ukraine (KPI). Since launching his programming career in 1993, he has demonstrated deep expertise in designing, developing, and deploying complex database business applications using a wide array of technologies including Visual Basic, C, C++, Python, R, Java, C#.NET, SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL. A passionate educator, he has developed and taught numerous Computer Science and Data Science courses at prominent institutions such as Concordia University, University of Phoenix, Western Governors University, and George Fox University. Currently, he serves as the Lead Faculty for the Data Science Master’s Program at George Fox University and actively contributes to the machine learning community as the owner of the Hillsboro Python Machine Learning Meetup and Portland Python User Group. His specialization in applied machine learning for life sciences reflects his continued commitment to innovation, research, and industry-relevant education.

Dr. Wes Rangel is a highly accomplished educator and leadership professional with a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California, along with advanced degrees in Organizational Leadership. With over a decade of instructional experience across prominent institutions such as the University of Arizona–Global Campus, Colorado State University–Global Campus, and Northcentral University, he has designed and taught a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses in project management, leadership, ethics, human resources, and organizational behavior. Dr. Rangel brings a unique combination of academic rigor and real-world expertise, honed through his leadership roles at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and as a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a trained instructional designer. His teaching philosophy emphasizes student success, engagement, and lifelong learning, and his academic work focuses on leadership development, workforce planning, and ethical decision-making. With strong credentials, a rich professional background, and a passion for transformative education, Dr. Rangel is dedicated to preparing future leaders for complex organizational environments.
